    Cool Sentence ok?

    Hello,

    Is this sentence ok?:

"Is there a place where you can get water?" I would tend to add "from" at the end... Would that be correct?

    Thank you.

    W

    Re: Sentence ok?

You need not "from": it does not add meaning to the sentence.

    Re: Sentence ok?

"Is there a place where you can get water?"
    "
"Is there a place (that) you can get water from?

    These are both fine.

    Re: Sentence ok?

Yes. Same thing. The "at" is not necessary, but not wrong.
