    yank out

If a tooth is in a bad condition we see the dentist to get it extracted. Can we say informally yank a tooth out?

    Re: yank out

    Emphasis on informal. Yes.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Re: yank out

As it implies doing it violently or energetically, don't ask the dentist to yank your teeth out.
