    Question A proposal title...

    Hi,
Could you please tell me if there is any problem with the structure?

"The impact of applying major parental styles into EFL classes on construction of learning autonomy."

    Any suggestions please?
    Thanks.

    Re: A proposal title...

Thanks. As you know a major problem among EFL/ESL students is the sheer amount of reliance they place on their teachers. This study aims to review those accepted parental syles, which makes children autonomous, and apply them into classes. The point is, in terms of interactional relationship between the teacher and their students (and not the transactional one) what models makes the students more autonomous. Thanks again.

I am perplexed by given answers:
    1. Aren't the words capitalized in titles?
"The Impact of Major Parental Styles on Construction of Learning Autonomy in EFL Classes"
    2. Aren't the lengthy titles broken into shorter sentences or phrases separated by dots, colons, etc.?
    3. Is there sense in lengthy titles?
One can always include the section(s) "KEYWORDS:" and/or "ABSTRACT" immediately after title

    Re: A proposal title...

1 We're discussing the wording not the formatting. Mehrgan is perfectly capable of formatting a title.
2 Not when they aren't needed.
    3 It's not a very lengthy title.
