    give water

This is an extract from direction of a product but I am not sure if "give water" means "drink water" or if it means something else?

    - harmful if swallowed. If swallowed: give water, get medical attention.

    Please help me with this.

    Thank you.

Give water to the person who has swallowed the product so that they can drink it, or you must help them to drink it.
