    Syntax 2nd attempt

    Dear teacher,
For some reason, I did not seem to get an answer to my previous post. Can you please tell me which of these two sentences is correct as to its syntax:
    1. After regular hours, students are encouraged to ask all the questions they could not do during Class due to time constraints.
    2. After regurlar hours, tudents are encouraged to ask all the questions they could not raise during class due to time constraints.
Also, please tell me if another form would be more acceptable.
    Thank you

I prefer the second. I'd also use 'owing to' rather than 'due to', but the latter is acceptable these days; 'because of' is also fine.

I would prefer, "Due to time constraints, students are encouraged to ask questions after class." This would be much less wordy, provides the same directive and eliminates some of the ihherent redundancy.
