    neutral

    Hi,

What does the "neutral" mean in this sentence?

I waited, but her eyes were neutral.

Which of the following definition is correct in this link? Is it definition four?

P.S.: If the sentence sound unnatural, please let me know.

It is closest to definition 4: of no particular kind, characteristics, etc, though more along the lines of not showing any kind (of emotion)

The idea is: her eyes did not reveal what she was thinking.
