    Cool interested in or to

    Hello!

Which is the correct preposition after "to be interested", in or to?

I'm interested in seeing what he's got to say about this.

I'm interested to see what he's got to say about this.

    Thank you

    W

    Re: interested in or to

    Hi Will,

    Use "... interested in..."
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

#1 is definitely correct in view of the construction "to be interested in doing something", but what about #2? Is it grammatically correct?
