I'm a bit confused by "fruit - fruits". In some students books it's said to be uncountable, in other - countable. so is it "some fruit" or "some fruits"???
'Fruit' is normally uncountable, but can be used countably, especially when used to talk about different types, and when used metaphorically.
Citrus fruits (orange, lime, lemon) are used for marmalade.
I have now retired to enjoy the fruits of my labour.
