Fruits or fruit

Hi!
I'm a bit confused by "fruit - fruits". In some students books it's said to be uncountable, in other - countable. so is it "some fruit" or "some fruits"??? :-(

'Fruit' is normally uncountable, but can be used countably, especially when used to talk about different types, and when used metaphorically.

Citrus fruits (orange, lime, lemon) are used for marmalade.
I have now retired to enjoy the fruits of my labour.
