    What does "abroad" mean in this sentence?


    Her busband was all abroad when she shouted at him.

    Unclear. Maybe it's a typo. Being "abroad" means you are out of your home country. That doesn't fit here.

    'All abroad' is now largely obsolete, but has the meaning 'confused' or perhaps 'flustered'. Possibly similar in usage to the expression 'all at sea'.
