    Is the underlined sentence correct?

    He would define himself as sincere and dynamic. He is able to connect well with people and believe it is time for him to move to a better position like the one available at your esteemed school in order to pursue his professional career and bring his best to your students.

    Can I write " move on to a better position" ?
