Let us focus on some problems with transformations with the use of inversion in the following sentences:
1. The Parthenon stands on the top of the Acropolis.
On ............................................................................... .
2. The bus came round the corner.
Round ........................................................................... .
3. I realized only then I had lost my keys.
Only .............................................................................. .
4. I had hardly gone to bed when somebody rang my doorbell.
No .................................................................................. .
Would you please, advise how to transform the above sentences using inversion?
Thank you for your help, in advance.

Would you please, advise how to transform the above sentences using inversion? Are the following examples correct or how would you alter them?
1. On the top of Acropolis stands the Parthenon.
2. Round the corner came the bus.
3. Only then did I realize, I had lost my keys.
4. No sooner had I gone to bed than somebody rang my doorbell.
Which of the above solutions are correct tranformations and which should be corrected and how?
Tomas

Are you sure that all of those sentences are correct? Are you a teacher of English or a student or a graduate ...or equivalent?

I'm sure you did not intend for this to be an insulting question, but please take a look at Bhai's profile. He clearly lists that he is an English teacher.

Bhaisahab made a joke about something I had written. It was quite a good joke.

He had already answered your question. He answered it correctly, as bhaisahab always does. On the incredibly rare occasions that he makes a small slip, he acknowledges this immediately.
