I know the sentence below is not correct.
1. I like very much blueberries.
However, I have heard the sentence below before.
2. He knows very much about Finance.
Could this sentence [which? you have two] be correct if 'very much' is intervened between a verb and its preposition?
If you mean 2, there is already a 'very much' between the verb and the preposition. (Gil's point, I think).
If you mean 1, there's no preposition in it.
2. sounds strange to me. It's alright in the negative: "He doesn't know very much about France." In the positive, "He knows a lot about France."
