    My sentences

    Hello,

Could you tell me please if these sentences are right?

1.Let's go to him/to his place.(Is there any difference between these two expressions?).
    2.You lied to me.
3.She hid here in/inside the house from someone.
4.They were knocking at his door for long(or for a long time?) until he opened it.
5.We consulted a doctor.(Is possible to say she had her child consulted with a doctor or she had her husband consulted? I mean when a person is mentally sick and can't consult a doctor himself).
6.I tried not to notice her sickness.
7."He is dead!" God in Heaven, I don't believe!"
    8.They burst out laughing.
