    a line from a movie --> I need help

    I heard this line from a TV series called "10 things I hate about you".

    The actress says, "I should not be put to make this decision."

    Does it mean that she is not the right person to make this decision."?

    Thank you very much indeed.

    Re: a line from a movie --> I need help

    It sounds as if she is being forced/pressured to make the decision and doesn't want to.
