Hello!

Chandler: She's amazing! She makes the women I dream about look like short, fat, bald men!
Monica: Well, go over to her! She's not with anyone.

In comparison to the first woman, the second woman has all of the appeal of a short, fat, bald man.

The first woman "makes" the second look like a short, fat, bald man.

Many of your questions are based on utterances from 'Friends'. Bear in mind that the humour often comes from unusual word combinations.

In this particular example, 'make someone/something.. look like someone/something else' is quite common, but some of the expressions you have asked about are funny precisely because they are unexpected. Some of them are almost meaningless outside the context of the immediate situation in 'Friends'. I would suggest that you don't take them as models of normal, everyday English.

Hi :) fivejedjon~

As a beginner, I have been improved my English without distinguishing them
Because it's hard to distinguish normal everyday English from them
Anyway, it's fun :-D to watch, ask, get answers, the whole learning English
Thanks for the suggestion and all your helps
And would you recommand any models of normal, everyday English?
