Hello everybody,

What do the underlined words mean?

This is a quote from the BBC:

"Tens of thousands of demonstrators remain on the streets of Egypt's major cities, despite a curfew from 1600 local time (1400 GMT). "

GMT = Greenwich Mean Time, which is the time in the UK now, so Egypt is two hours ahead of the UK.
