    giving directions

    "Walk down the street or take this street?, turn left by the traffic-light or turn by the traffic light to the left? and you'll get to a subway station."

    Head down this street and turn left at the light.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
