    What does this sentence mean?

    What does this sentence mean?

Oh, he's a scumbag. I wouldn't be seen dead with him!

Does it mean "if I see him again, I will kill him" or "I would rather die than see him"?

    Thanks a lot

I wouldn't want to be in his presence even if I were dead.

'He's a scumbag' would have made a better thread title.
