    wouldn`t be caught dead.

    hi.
    so I know the idiom goes "wouldn`t be caught dead", but I was wondering if what follows is correct.
    "Mope the floor?"
    "Like I would ever be caught dead doing something like that!"

    Yes, that would be idiomatically correct in my dialect. By the way, it's, "Mop the floor?"
