A, The, and without any of them

    Hi,

I always cannot be sure whether to use a, the, or without any of them in certain contexts, for instance,

I was told about this matter and to seek consultation from the this company.

Should use a consultation or the consultation, or without??

    Thanks,
    Lau

"... to seek consultation from this company" is correct here.

    But you should say:
"... to seek the consultation of this company."

And you can not say:"...to seek a consultation from this company" because "consultation" in your sentence is uncountable.

Thanks so much for the further correction, Khosro!

I think I must be dyslexic, keep miss typing some little words (I, not, etc)!
