    surely vs certainly

    Hello,

I often prefer to use "certainly" in place of "surely" in my day-to-day email communication. I always have a doubt if I have used it in the correct context. I am looking for info on when i can and i can't use this word.
Here is an example sentence and please advice me if I have used this word correctly.

"Pertaining to the knowledge transfer - I think we certainly need code walkthorugh to understand the business requirements"

    Thanks,
    Sanchi
