    1 or 2 is better

1)"Slavic, and Ukrainian naturism in particular finds its roots in pagan religion. The Ioanna Kupala day, which is still celebrated, represents a merger of a human with Nature, purification through rituals of jumping over the fire and washing in the water."

2)"Slavic, and Ukrainian Naturism in particular, finds its roots in pagan religions. The Ionna Kupala day, which is still celebrated, represents the fusion/unification? of the human with Nature, purification through the ritual of jumping over the fire and bathing in water."

Of the originals? I don't have an answer for that.
For the second sentence, I'd suggest something like this:
The Ioanna Kupala day, which is still celebrated, represents a union of man and nature, a purification through the rituals of jumping over fire and washing in water."

    I am not a teacher.

I like it, except that John the Baptist Day should probably be treated like any other holiday, with no article, and perhaps translated outright: either "Ioanna Kupala Day, which is still celebrated ..." or "John the Baptist Day, which is still celebrated ...".
