Please use correct English, not text speak. Why do you think that we might use was or were instead of did?

    1. "You were at the party last night", how would you make that into a question?
    2. "You went to the party last night", how would you make that into a question?

Why is it wrong to use text speak?
This is an English language forum, and we ask people to try to write correct English rather than text speak. There are thousands of sites where you can chat in text speak if you wish - not here, please.

I did not register in this website to chat or to have fun. I registered because I want to learn and become better english speaker. And for your information my native language is Arabic. So , I asked because I want to learn and not to chat.

If you want to become a better English speaker, you're in the right place. And this place have a rule that says we are supposed to use standard English. Text speak is not standard English. You will improve your English if you try not to use it here
