I have made a real contribution to the company.
However, the above statement needs to be agreed by someone.

Question:
Based on the background, is the below sentence sensible ?

I am recognized for making a real contribution to the company.

My opinion:
I think it is correct to say "I am recognized for"

I think that stating the achievements might be enough- the recognition still seems a bit of a self-made claim unless they're going to act as referees. Others may feel differently about this, though.

The main point is that you cannot say that your contributions have been recognised unless you say how they have been recognised. There is no way round this.
