Please help me!I asked the question before, but no one taught me the meaning .

I asked the same question before, but no one taught me the the meaning "another second or two"/
    I learned "after a second or two"="after a while".
Please teach me the meaning of that phrase.

It means 'after a very short time' - perhaps literally after no more than two seconds.
