    Question please correct

If I make someone listen to a story/song then I would say:
'I will tell you a story/song'. Can it also be said as 'I will make you listen to a story/song.'
What could be the other ways to say that?

If you make someone listen to a story, it seems as though you are forcing them to listen, perhaps by pointing a gun at them and threatening to shoot them if they do not listen. Is this what you want to say?

There aren't really any other ways of saying that you will/are going to/would like to tell a story, sing a song or recite a poem.
