    Sentences March 4

    Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

    1. How would they have worked out an amicable agreement?

    2. How would the structure may have worked out in this case?

    3. How would an employee become a partner at your old firm? ( Here I am enquiring about a personís past firm. The firm doesnít exist anymore)

    Thank you,

    MG.

    fivejedjon,

    Thanks.

    3. How would an employee have become a partner at your old firm?
The use of 'have' is not clear me here. I thought when talking about past habits/practices we can use 'would'. For example, sentence #4 below. In sentence #3, I thought I was talking about a practice of that firm.

    4. I would go to that store every day, when I was a teeager.

You are right. When I changed your original, I didn't think of that - sorry.

I was following up on your first two. So, my 'correction' is also possible - though with a different time viewpoint.
