    what and which

    1. What day is today?
    2. Which day is today?

    3. What date is today?
    4. Which date is today?

    5. What month is today?
    6. Which month is today?

    7. What year is today?
    8. Which year is today?

I always get confused the usage of what and which. Did I make it right on the above sentence? It's not a homework, I just want to make sure I say properly.

    Thank you.

    Re: what and which

Which is not idiomatic in any of these options.

    I'd say

    1. What day is it?

    2. What's today's date?

    3. What month is it?

    4. What year is it?
