    On vacations

    - Are the sentences below grammartical and do they make any sense?

    1. Has your boss ever run out of money while he is on vacations?
    2. Has he ever been mugged while on holiday?

    I think it should be "... he was on vacation?". Without plural "s" and with "was".
    The other one sounds okay to me.

    Yes, "vacation" singular. and "was" instead of "is".
