    Are these sentences correct?

    1) Those two men are able to foresee that terrible storm and to calm down the storm with their exstraordinary power.

    2) According to the author, miracles are the emblem of the divine will and the way through which and over which (on which??) the relation between men and God stays (is it correct the verb TO STAY in this sentence?)

    3) Those people managed to recover thanks to the king's great power and to Aidan's humble behaviour.

Are these three sentences correct? Thank you very much for your help.

    Re: Are these sentences correct?

Gil, what would be a proper substitute for "stays" which convey the concept of maintain? Apart from "shows" which is something else.
