Hello,

Could you please tell me the difference between these sentences and how to use each in a situation.

Good luck on your job hunting. uses on as the preposition
Good luck with that. uses with as the preposition

Can you tell what's your mother's name? uses word what
Can you tell your mother's name? does not use word what

Many thanks in advance.

'Good luck on your job hunting.'
'Good luck with that.'

Both are fine.

'Can you tell what's your mother's name?' Unnatural
'Can you tell what is your mother's name?' Possible
'Can you tell what your mother's name is?' Possible
'Can you tell your mother's name?' The most likely
