Do I need a comma after
Though the protest was evoked by the Egyptians , the Egyptians were driven by what Hosni Mubarak did to Egypt and inspired by the protest in Tunisia.

Mulk,

I have 100% confidence in saying that you are 100% correct: it needs

that comma.

When you say that sentence aloud, do you notice how you are almost

forced to pause and take a brief rest? Well, that pause is represented

by a comma.

If "Though the protest was evoked by the Egyptians" were placed

at the end of the sentence, then you would not need a comma in front

of "Though."

For example:

Although/ even though/ though I like you, [pause]I am not going to

lend you $1,000.

I am not going to lend you $1,000 although/even though/ though I

like you.
