    bullets vs. dashes

    Hello everybody!

Is it possible to use dashes instead of bullets in listings?

    Like in:

The compressed air system includes the following basic elements:
    VN110 stop valve
    F7 filter
    header

    Can it be like:

The compressed air system includes the following basic elements:
    - VN110 stop valve
    - F7 filter
    - header

No punctuation marks at the end of lines, as I learned here.

    Thank you.

    Re: bullets vs. dashes

    Yes.

If using MS Word to write a document, I might use bullet points.

But just dashing off a quick list, in plain text, the dash -- is available and sure to go through any email system.

Bullets are just dashes that someone had the time to make pretty.
