    drink and bread

    • The drink has gone bad.
    • The drink has gone stale.
    • The drink has gone deterioated.

    1. Are the above sentences all right?
    2. Which one is more common for daily conversation?

The bread has been out from oven for long and it's not soft anymore.

    Shall I say
    • The bread is old.

    Thank you

    Ju.
Depends what sort of drink it is:
    milk..
    The milk's gone sour.
    The milk's gone off.

    fizzy drink..
    The Coke's gone flat.

If it's a juice or a non-fizzy drink you might say that it has gone off/bad, or just that it's too old to drink.

    And for bread..
    The bread's gone stale.
and maybe it's also gone mouldy/moldy.
