    I like apple/apples best.

    Hi there!

A: What fruit do you like best?
    B: I like apple/apples best.
    C: I like cherry/cherries best.

So what is the right choice? plural or singular form of the words?
    Thanks.

I am not teacher nor a native speaker
Don't forget to use the Indefinite Article like that way an apple/a cherry.
I belive both forms are acceptable.
