What he/she has to say about the topic?

    Hi All,

Can you please tell me the exact meaning of this kind of sentence? Or can give me a situation where it can be spoken.

What he/she has to say about the topic?

    Thank you in advance.

Re: What he/she has to say about the topic?

You don't give the context, so it's not easy for us to decide.

If this is a question, it should be phrased 'What has she to say about the topic?' or, more naturally, 'What does she have to say about the topic?'

'The topic' is whatever we are talking about at the moment; the subject, the matter or the problem.

If the topic is understood, I wouldn't say 'the topic' here, but would use 'What does she have to say about this?'

The exact meaning? The writer wants to know if xxx has an opinion.

Thank you, The Dude. I think you answered my question.
