    Is the following sentence correct?
    Held in Karachi at the Pear Continental on 18th, 19th and 20th November, 2005, the event will be a …………..

    The comma is unnecessary (or wrong, depending on the authority) after November. If the main clause is future, then I would suggest To be held rather than just Held, which suggests a past event.
