    any demonstration/demonstrations

    Hello dear techers!

Which one do you think is correct?

The Bahreini government had earlier warned against any demonstration/any demonstrations near the royal palace

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: any demonstration/demonstrations

I'm wondering if it is a really puzzling question even for the native speakers of English!

Thanks for the answer but choices are any demonstration vs any demonstrations. So both of these are correct?
