You have eight different questions here. If there are differences of opinion when people respond, the thread will become very confusing. In future, please ask one question per thread. I will look at one:

Do you know the man……….over there?.....A interview B being interviewed C interviewed D interviews Answer: B. being interviewed (why not C. interviewed?)

Someone is interviewing the man; the man is being interviewed.
Do you know the man (who is) being interviewed?

    Re: Multiple choice

    2. ……would be very unwise
A Do so B To do so C In doing so D Doing so

Band D are both possible, though B is more likely. The ing-form tends to refer to actions that have happened (Driving home after eight pints last night was a stupid thing to do) or happen generally (Smoking is bad for you); the to-infinitive tends to point to the future (To cancel this project would be insane).

    Re: Multiple choice

5jj, what do you think about No.6? If I took the test myself, I'd opt for B, keeping in mind C is possible too. Could you please explain why C is a better alternative?

Answer: C - This is not correct.
6.“I’m so impressed with the weather here” “Yes, this is a lovely part of the country, …?...A is this B isn’t it C is it D isn’t this

The words I have underlined being affirmative, the question tag that we normally expect must be negative - B or D. This referring to a lovely part of the country, the pronoun in the tag is it.

    So, B is the answer.

C would be possible only if the speaker were suggesting doubt or disagreement - not possible with the opening Yes.

Do you mean answer B."To do so" is correct?

As 5jj said, "To do so" is correct, "Doing so" is possible but less likely.

My apologies. I typed 'A' when I should have typed 'B'. The words I wrote were otherwise correct. I have now corrected my mistake.

    Re: Multiple choice

    I can't say that I think question 7 is a fair question.
