I think sure that the following sentences are correct:
1. Our neighbours, we've known for over twenty years now, are moving out.
2. The woman whom we gave a lift turned out a famous actress.
3. My city that used to be a small village a hundred years ago is quite big now.
What do you think ? Are there any errors in them? What are they?
How to link the following ?
1. We passed all the exams. It was easy to pass them.
2. She realised she was in trouble. She phoned her mother. This was typical.
3. The liver is about 30 centimetres long. It helps in the digestion of food.
It seems easy but I think there may be a snag in all that. Would you please link them? :?:

The relative pronoun cannot be omitted in non-defining clauses.

2. The woman to whom we gave a lift turned out a famous actress.

That's quite formal; more natural would be:
The woman we gave a lift to turned out a famous actress.
The woman who we gave a lift to turned out a famous actress.
The woman that we gave a lift to turned out a famous actress.

3. My city that used to be a small village a hundred years ago is quite big now. X
The city that used to be a small village a hundred years ago is quite big now.
My city, which that used to be a small village a hundred years ago, is quite big now

1. We passed all the exams, which was easy. (The was tells us that the antecedent of the relative pronoun is not the [plural] exams, but the whole clause.)
2. She realised she was in trouble, and phoned her mother, which was typical.
3. The liver is about 30 centimetres long, which helps in the digestion of food. (The position of the relative clause tells us that the antecedent is not the liver).
