    antidote for , to, against

    This is a realy good antidote to snake poison or a snake bite? What preposition would you use with an antidote? Most dictionaries say it's "to".

    I use 'to', but I have nothing against 'against'.

    COCA/BNC give 605/124 examples of 'to', 118/7 of 'for' and 10/1 of 'against'.
