Is it true that the expression "It's a prejudice" is almost like a swear word in America?
I heard it from someone, but I don't think it's true. I think it's just saying some notion is based on a stereotype thinking.

ex)A: I heard your country's girls like plastic surgery so much
B: It's a prejudice! That's not true.
A : (talking to himself) (What? prejudice? I feel humiliated!)

Prejudice is not a swear word in the United States.

Your friend might have been confused with racist, which means you are prejudiced against someone because of their race. That is generally considered a bad thing in the US.
