I would like to sort out all forms of FORGET.
I have looked through some threads but haven't found a summary.
Some suggested that 1) I forget you name. (= I don't remember your name)
while 2) I forgot your name. (= I don't know it now, but I used to know it).
I don't see a big differnce between them.
Another one is 3) to be forgetting
what meanings does it have except I almost forgot?
