    difference in meaning (complements)

    Hi guys...

Can someone tell me the difference in meaning between the following sentences?

    a) I can't bear to be alone.
    b) I can't bear being alone.

I would appreciate a complete answer.
Please give me your opinions even if you're not sure.

    Thanks.

    Re: difference in meaning (complements)

I can't detect the slightest difference. They are identical.
