    Charging/Collecting

I have some trouble about it. Which one is correct? or if none of them. How would be the answer?

My question: "Is there anyone charging/collecting?"

    Thanks.

    Re: Charging/Collecting

It's a situation in a place such as a store where the cashier is not on the cash register and I ask to someone of anyone is charging/collecting on that cash register.

    Thanks.

    Re: Charging/Collecting

    I'd probably just call, "Hello?"

    Or leave

But if you're speaking to someone else you can ask "Can someone (please) help me at the register?" or "Can I (please) get a cashier here?"
