    Present and past perfect

I have not included the names of the agents who have left the company.

I have not included the names of the agents who had left the company.

Can I use "had" in the above context? If yes, please explain.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you,2010

I think I got this sentence right
I have not included the names of the agents who had left the company during a period of time that extended up to a past time that the speaker and listener know about. - Can my sentence stand as it is or does it need further information to use it with "had"

fivejedjon - I really appreciate your help. This is something beyond my capability to understand I guess. If you could explain it in layman terms with some examples, that would be great.

    Others comments are also welcome.

I have not included the names of the agents who have left the company, up to and including today's date. For example.

I have not included the names of the agents who had left the company before 2010. For example.
    Does that help?
