Broken chair leg. Please do not sit.
Which one is correct of the above sentences? Please check. Thanks
"Leg chair" or "chair leg"? Sometimes we use a noun to describe another noun. In this case
the first noun functions as an
adjective, modifying the second one.
So, "chair leg" is a leg that is part of the chair ("chair" here functions as an adjective). Similarly, we say "paper towel", "book store", etc.
"Leg chair" would mean... a chair that is made out of legs?* :-| We would not say this.
All of this is to say, the second option is correct.

Although, interestingly enough, an "armchair" is not made out of arms.
