Not a Teacher
Is it the word "role" you do not understand? Your sentence means "What actions must the student perform to learn English"
This is what i need
really thank you
Have you any more idea about it ?
It's not our essay. What do you think a student should to as part of the learning process?
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
(1) You have asked an excellent question.
(2) In my country, many students are not doing very well in school,
including the ability to use English well.
(3) It is very popular among some people to say:
Students are not doing well because they have terrible teachers.
(4) As you have rightly pointed out, it is the role (part) of the
student that is as important (or maybe more important) as that of
those "terrible" teachers.
(5) The moderator has suggested that you start listing some of the
actions (as another poster said) that a student should follow if s/he
wants to be a good student (in your case, a student of English).
One cannot simply sit in a seat and expect to learn English without
participating in the learning process.
(6) The moderator has suggested that you list some of the things
that you should do in order to learn English. Let me start with one:
A student should continue to study English outside of the classroom.
Some students think that they can attend a language class for an hour
each day and become fluent. Obviously, your activities outside of the
classroom will play a big part in whether you actually learn English well.
(7) If you were the teacher, what would you like your students to do
in order to fulfill their responsibilities?
