    it all requires wings

    Hi there,

Could you help me out with the sentence underlined?

    Thanks a lot.

" Sometimes taking flight takes letting go.
    Letting go takes faith.
    Faith takes letting go.
    It all requires wings.
    And so it goes."

    What does wings here mean?
It means a wing of an airplane or of a bird or something else?

    Thank you for your help.

    IQU3838.
This excerpt is from a book called "Life Is A Verb" and it's difficult to know exactly what the writer means by "wings" without reading the book. However, because this is what is often described as a self-help book, I am sure she means "wings" in a metaphorical rather than literal sense. She may be discussing what's required in a person's life to allow them to "let go", to live more freely or in some way that the writer feels is liberating.
